In my 35 plus years of fishing on the Mckenzie I have never had an osprey swoop down from the skies and take a fish from me. That was until last year. An osprey came down twice last year and grabbed the fish a client was fighting. It happened twice. Last week this osprey came down again (I believe it is the same bird). This week I was prepared with my camera and here is the show.
He flies through the air with the greatest of ease!
He is about to hit the water ... notice the rod.

Does he get our fish?
